Colorado Springs Philharmonic Guild monthly email newsletter November 2019
From the President
It is that time of the year. The hustle and bustle of the holidays can leave us feeling busy and frazzled. Take a moment, friends, to buy your tickets for the upcoming The Nutcracker concerts. There is nothing like sitting down to enjoy the beloved ballet with a child or grandchild to remind you of the magic of the season. We have had wonderful response to our request for volunteers to staff the Guild's Nutcracker Boutique. In fact, we have all the volunteers we need, which is a sign of the strength and involvement of the Guild's membership. Thank you so much for volunteering!
Our Fall Fundraising concert featuring pianist Wiley Skaret was a terrific success, also. We were able to donate to Wiley's foundation, as well as to add additional funds to support the ongoing work of the Guild. We have also recently completed our annual Membership Directory. They are in the mail to you. Make sure to hold on to it and use it to keep in touch with fellow Guild members. Enjoy family, friends, and your love of music during the upcoming holiday season. Stay warm. Stay connected and we hope to see you at the Guild's holiday party, starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17. RSVP here. We will see you in December at the Deco Lounge inside the beautiful Fine Arts Center. Most sincerely, Hope Mena Guild Board President Photos from November's fundraiser
